The African Nutrition Society (ANS), in collaboration with the Nutrition Association of Namibia (NAN), has issued a final call for abstract submissions for the 10th Africa Nutrition Conference (ANC X 2026), scheduled to take place from 30 November to 4 December 2026 in Windhoek, Namibia.
Under the theme, “From Evidence to Impact: Accelerating Nutrition Action in Africa,” ANC X 2026 will bring together nutrition professionals, researchers, academics, policymakers, development partners, and other stakeholders to share research findings, exchange knowledge, and explore practical approaches to advancing nutrition action across Africa.
Researchers and prospective presenters are encouraged to submit their abstracts before the final deadline of 18 October 2026. The conference provides an important platform for presenting scientific evidence, highlighting innovative interventions, and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders working to improve nutrition outcomes across the continent.
Abstract submissions are particularly encouraged in areas aligned with the conference theme, including nutrition governance and policy, sustainable food systems, climate change and healthy diets, malnutrition and nutrition-related diseases, indigenous foods, nutrition workforce development, and nutrition research, data, and surveillance.
