MICE Visa Facilitation for International Delegates

Approval has been granted to facilitate the MICE Visa for delegates attending the 10th Africa Nutrition Conference (ANC X).

The conference organisers will submit the required delegate information for processing. Once the delegate information has been uploaded and the necessary approval obtained, delegates can proceed with their individual visa applications.

Information Required from Delegates

Delegates may be required to provide the following information exactly as it appears in their official documents:

  • Full name as it appears on the passport
  • Date of birth
  • Passport number
  • Nationality

Please ensure that all information submitted is accurate and follows the required format, as changes may result in delays or rejection by the system.

MICE Visa Application Process

Step 1: Obtain the Event Code

Delegates must receive the official Event Code from the conference organisers before beginning their visa application.

Step 2: Register on the E-Services Portal

Create a user profile on the relevant e-services portal.

Step 3: Apply for a MICE Visa

Select MICE Visa as the visa category. No other visa category should be selected for this process.

Step 4: Prepare Supporting Documents

The following documents are required:

  • Scanned copy of the passport data page
  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Flight ticket reference number

Step 5: Submit Your Application

Complete and submit your visa application through the e-services portal.

Step 6: Receive Your Visa Reference Number

Once your application has been approved, a visa reference number will be issued.

Step 7: Make Payment

Complete payment according to the instructions provided.

Visa Processing Times

Please allow adequate time for visa processing.

  • Participants: Approximately 48 hours
  • Presenters: 3–5 working days
  • Organisers: 3–5 working days
  • Media personnel: 3–5 working days

We strongly encourage all delegates to begin the visa process well ahead of the 23 November 2026 visa application closing date.

Visa Requirements by Nationality

Visa requirements depend on your nationality.

Category Visa Requirement
Citizens of visa-exempt countries No visa required, subject to the permitted length of stay
Eligible nationalities Visa on arrival or e-Visa available
Non-eligible nationalities Visa must be obtained before travel from a Namibian diplomatic mission

Documents Generally Required

Depending on your nationality and visa category, you may need:

  • A valid passport with at least six months’ validity
  • At least three blank passport pages
  • Return or onward ticket
  • Accommodation confirmation
  • Proof of financial means
  • Travel itinerary
  • Travel or medical insurance
  • Yellow Fever certificate, where applicable

Important Yellow Fever Information

A Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is required only for travellers arriving from, or transiting through, countries considered to be at risk of Yellow Fever transmission.

Where applicable, travellers should carry the original International Certificate of Vaccination.

Delegates are advised to ensure that they meet all applicable health and immigration requirements before travelling.

Information for Exhibitors: NAMRA Customs Requirements

Exhibitors bringing equipment or products into Namibia should submit a detailed list containing:

  • All items being brought into the country
  • Serial numbers for all equipment

This information will be shared with the relevant NAMRA contact to facilitate customs clearance and support.

Information for Media Personnel

Media personnel covering the 10th Africa Nutrition Conference (ANC X) must first obtain accreditation from the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology (MICT) before applying for a MICE Visa.

The following documents are required for accreditation:

  • Invitation letter addressed to the media personnel
  • Copy of the media personnel’s passport
  • Completed visa application form
  • List of equipment, including serial numbers

Following submission and approval, an approval letter will be issued to enable the delegate to proceed with the MICE Visa application.
